Revitalising Hampton Park Shopping Precinct

25 March 2026 The Allan Labor Government is backing small businesses – making them even more welcoming to boost visitors, jobs and local economies.

Member for Narre Warren South Gary Maas MP, yesterday welcomed the Hon Natalie Suleyman MP, Minister for Small Business and Employment, to officially announce that Hampton Park Shopping Centre will get a facelift, thanks to the Victorian Government’s Multicultural Business Precinct Revitalisation Program.

This is part of a $6 million investment to update local shopfronts, improve public infrastructure and enhance community spaces in multicultural business hubs across the state.

The Multicultural Business Precinct Revitalisation Program will see councils, business groups and local traders supported in working together to deliver the improvements and promote cultural diversity.

Hampton Park Shopping Centre will receive $250,000 for the project which will be delivered by the City of Casey. Possible upgrades to the precinct span improvements to shopfronts, outdoor trading, pedestrian access or public spaces to support the incredible multicultural businesses who make up this busy local hub.

Multicultural business precincts are the cornerstone of local economies and communities, providing unique places where people gather, shop, work and build cultural connections and friendships.

Victoria is proudly home to more than 735,000 small businesses. Around 56 per cent of all small businesses are owned by people with at least one parent born overseas.
