Over $18.9 million is being invested in Kambrya College to upgrade and modernise the school, including adding an additional 400 spaces in permanent facilities to meet growing demand.
The State Budget 2022-2023 will provide $1.5 million towards the upgrade of facilities at Strathaird Reserve.
The Reserve is home to local sporting clubs including Narre South Cricket, Football, Netball and Junior Football clubs which will benefit from improved facilities that will encourage greater participation and improved experiences for players, families, and spectators.
The Victorian Budget 2022/23 will invest over $12 billion to put patients first, with a Pandemic Repair Plan for more staff, better hospitals, and first-class care.
This will include the rebuilding and expanding of the emergency department at Casey Hospital.
Planning is underway for a children’s emergency department at Casey Hospital. We have also delivered 128 multiday inpatient beds, and a 12-bed intensive care unit .
Hampton Park PS
Works are now complete on Hampton Park Primary School’s new community hub space.
The Andrews Labor Government provided $264,625 from the Minor Capital Works Fund for the new community hub space which will assist the school with a new enhanced learning environment for students and a space for connection to the community.
Positive Start Initiative
Over 50,000 students across Victoria including from Berwick Chase Primary School have attended free arts, sporting and cultural programs and experiences thanks to the $12.4 million Positive Start in 2022 initiative.
Casey Early Parenting Centre
We are providing greater access to early parenting support with a site secured for a new Early Parenting Centre in Casey.
The new multi-million-dollar facility will be located at 65S Matterhorn Drive, Clyde North and will provide parents and carers with the tailored advice and care they need, including support with sleep and settling, feeding and extra care for babies and toddlers with additional needs.
Casey Bus Network Improvement
We are expanding existing bus services in Cranbourne West (route 863) including an expanded service through the business park in Narre Warren to meet growing demand (route 895).
The expansion is part of a $109 million initiative to provide faster and better connectivity to our schools and work to keep public transport moving.
Robert Booth Reserve
We’re investing $3 million in Robert Booth Reserve in Hampton Park. Upgrading the pavilion to get more locals active while supporting the groups that use the space.
Clyde Rd Level Crossing
Clyde Rd Level Crossing is officially gone and the brand new underpass has opened - we have now removed 58 level crossings since 2015.
Removing these level crossings and upgrading the Pakenham-Cranbourne line will make commuting easier and quicker for our community.
Webb Street Level Crossing
We'll remove the dangerous and congested level crossing at Webb Street with an elevated rail bridge to be built over the road in Narre Warren.
A new station will also be built at Narre Warren as part of the crossing removal, with modern facilities for the community to enjoy.
Site investigations are already underway, and construction will be completed by 2025.
We’ve recently completed an upgrade to improve road safety and save lives at the busy South Gippsland Hwy and Lynbrook Boulevard intersection.
The Victorian State Budget 2020/21 has committed $12.63 million to upgrade the South Gippsland Highway from Lynbrook Boulevard to the Dandenong Bypass.
Narre Warren South Scout Hall
Our local Scouts will get to enjoy a brand new scout hall - construction started in late 2020. It will be the first time that they get their own space to continue their valued work to the community.
The Victorian State Budget 2020/21 has secured $10 million to build a state-of-the-art eco cubby, which is a multipurpose facility including learning spaces and a kitchen for students, parent program sessions and for whole of school events.
Hampton Park SC
$6.5 million has been invested by the State Government to upgrade facilities at Hampton Park Secondary College, including a new STEAM centre and flexible classrooms. These Stage 2 works are now well under way.
I recently joined the Premier at Hampton Park Secondary College to officially open the Doctors in Schools clinic which will provide students with accessible doctors care at school.
Berwick Chase PS
Students at Berwick Chase Primary School and the community are set to benefit from a $1.4m upgrade to their local sports ground. The funding will develop a brand new oval, cricket practice nets, a modern pavilion, floodlighting, landscaping and a much-needed car park.
