A Better Pavilion for Hampton Park Tennis Club

28 September 2022

The Hampton Park and Narre Warren South community will soon be enjoying modern, redeveloped and improved sporting facilities at Robert Booth Reserve thanks to the Andrews Labor Government.

Also, under a re-elected Andrews Labor Government an extra $550,000 will go towards the Robert Booth Reserve for the refurbishment of the Hampton Park Tennis Club Pavilion.

This commitment builds on our record of support for Robert Booth Reserve – we’ve just turned the first sod on the new $3 million two-storey pavilion for AFL, cricket and netball. The development includes a community room, female-friendly change rooms and amenities, commercial kitchen, canteen and public toilets.

Community sport is the lifeblood of so many suburbs, bringing families together through a shared love of sport.

Local clubs work hard to fundraise for better facilities for their teams but as more families struggle to make ends meet clubs may not be able to rely on the generosity of their members.

That’s why the Labor Government is backing local sports clubs and families to deliver better sports grounds and facilities.

We have invested more than $1.6 billion to upgrade and improve local recreation reserves and sports grounds – making them better for local families.

We’ve delivered better courts and grounds, new scoreboards, lighting upgrades and changing facilities for clubs in every corner of the state.

Only a Labor Government will deliver Hampton Park Tennis Club Pavilion in Narre Warren South, looking after the needs of local families.
